G-20Y Summit IOC submitted our 2011 Communique to Christine Lagarde, IMF Managing Director on November 4, 2011 at the G20 in Cannes. Victor Philippenko, G-20Y Summit Deputy Chair took part in the G20 and B20 in Cannes. The purpose was to submit the G-20Y Summit 2011 Final Communiqué, created by business and financial leaders one month ago in Paris to the G20 in Cannes.

G-20Y Summit IOC submitted our 2011 Communique to the 2011 JCI President Kentaro Harada and presented it to the JCI World Congress on November 4, 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. Ksenia Khoruzhnikova, G-20Y Summit IOC Chair was one of the speaker at the World Congress and presented the G-20Y Summit Communique. A total of 4,532 delegates from 100 countries attended the Congress. JCI is one of the most influential membership-based nonprofit organization of 200,000 young people ages 18 to 40 in 5,000 communities and more than 100 countries around the world, including successful entrepreneurs and business people.

German Organizing Committee visits Ministry of Foreign Affairs
|
The German Organizing Committee visited the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin to meet Mr. Marcus Bleinroth, Deputy Head of the Unit for International Economic and Financial Policy. In the meeting, Mr. Bleinroth presented information which is important for the preparation of the German Delegation of the Summit in Paris. After a general introduction to the structure and history of the G-20, Mr. Bleinroth compiled background information concerning all topics of the G-20Y Summit 2011 agenda. In addition, he pointed out the key role of Germany within the G-20 and emphasized the importance of topics like Green Economy and Global Governance in the future.
The information provided by Mr. Bleinroth will be summarized and presented to the German Delegates in order to optimally prepare the delegation for the G-20Y Summit. The German Organizing Committee is very thankful for the personal support of Mr. Bleinroth and is looking forward to a proliferous cooperation in the future.
The G-20Y Summit IOC and the Expert Council held a joint meeting on March 4, 2011 at the Headquarter of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington D.C.

Ms. Karla Chaman (IMF, Senior Civil Society Officer), Dr. Djordjija Petkoski (Program Leader - Business, Competitiveness and Development - World Bank), Dr. Holger Erchinger (Partner - KPMG LLP (New York), Ms. Ksenia Khoruzhnikova (G-20Y Summit IOC Chair) and Mr. Jean-Luc Larribau (President of the Board of the Business Assembly of the G-20Y Summit IOC) attended this meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss potential agenda items for the upcoming G-20Y Summit in Paris that will take place between October 5-9, 2011 and strategic aspects of the G-20Y Summit organization and governance, and its interaction with its primary stakeholders. The agenda for the G-20Y Summit in Paris will be posted on the website once finalized which is anticipated in April 2011.
